Chocolate Fudge Bars
Chocolate Fudge Bars Ingredients
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 tblsp cocoa
- 185g butter
- 1/2 teasp vanilla
Chocolate Icing Ingredients
- 1 tblsp cocoa
- 3/4 cup icing
- 2 teasp butter
- dash of water
Chocolate Fudge Bars Directions
Sift dry ingredients into a bowl. Add vanilla & melted butter (start with a 1/2 cup & increase as needed) then mix well. Press mixture over base of 28cm x 18cm rectangle baking tin. Bake in a 180C / 350F oven 20mins. Cool in tin then spread icing evenly over top, finishing with a sprinkle of coconut (optional)
Chocolate Icing Directions
Sift icing sugar & cocoa into a bowl. Add melted butter & water then mix with a fork until a thick paste.
Tip: If mixture too runny you have used too much water & will need to add more icing sugar & cocoa.
