Hamburgers


Ingredients

  • 300g ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 slices bacon or ham
  • 4 iceberg lettuce leaves
  • 4 slices tomato
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 toasted GF hamburger buns
  • BBQ Sauce or Ketchup
  • 1 teasp butter

Directions

In a large bowl mix onion ground into ground beef (Using your hands is easiest). Make into flat round patties the size of your hamburger bun.
Melt 1 teasp butter in a frying pan over a medium high heat and cook patties. After approx 3 mins turn patty & add a layer of cheese to cooked side. Cook for a further 3-4mins or until brown. In a seperate pan put eggs & bacon on to fry.

To serve put out the bread, along with separate bowls containing the eggs, bacon, lettuce, tomato & sauces. Let everyone make their own burger so they can get the perfect mix of flavors.

Serves 4

Tips:
For extra flavor try adding garlic or cajun seasoning to the meat patties.
