Mustard Chicken
Ingredients
- 6 single chicken fillets
- 1 level tblsp GF cornflour
- 30gms butter
- 1/4 cup chopped shallots/green onions
- 1 level tblspn grainy mustard
- 3 level teaspn smooth mustard (french, german, or dutch)
- 3/4 cup dry white wine
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 level teaspn honey
- pinch thyme
- 4 tblspns cream
- 2 tblspns grated tasty cheese
Directions
Dust chicken with cornflour then fry gently in butter until golden, adding shallots halfway through. Add mustards, wine, water, honey & thyme.
Simmer10-15mins then add cream and heat through. Add salt and pepper to taste then just before serving add cheese.
Serve with green vegetables, salad or rice.
Serves 3-4 people
