Mustard Chicken


Ingredients

  • 6 single chicken fillets
  • 1 level tblsp GF cornflour
  • 30gms butter
  • 1/4 cup chopped shallots/green onions
  • 1 level tblspn grainy mustard
  • 3 level teaspn smooth mustard (french, german, or dutch)
  • 3/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 level teaspn honey
  • pinch thyme
  • 4 tblspns cream
  • 2 tblspns grated tasty cheese
GF = Gluten Free
Gluten Free Mustard Chicken

Directions

Dust chicken with cornflour then fry gently in butter until golden, adding shallots halfway through. Add mustards, wine, water, honey & thyme.

Simmer10-15mins then add cream and heat through. Add salt and pepper to taste then just before serving add cheese.

Serve with green vegetables, salad or rice.


Serves 3-4 people
